Description: Case XX STAINLESS tang stamp, 1940 to 1964. Senator penknife. Pattern # 5279 SS, 3-1/8” closed. Nickel silver liners with pinned CASE oval shield. The blades each have strong snap, smooth action, no wobble. The nice genuine stag handles have great color, front handle has a reddish tint.The front handle has a tiny crack and minor flaking at the lower bolster handle pin & back has a fine hairline - see photos. A used knife - carried and very lightly sharpened.Each blade is full; each has much of the factory finish, patina and light scratches. Handling rub marks and patina on the backspring and bolsters.
