The bottom of it says it was a Christmas gift in 1971 Measures 33 inches to top of finial 24 inches to top of socket base is 8 1/4 x 9 inches with the vent to the back, it would be 12 inches deep weighs almost 6 pounds it is done in a dark gray almost black. I like the grate, it has "comfort" on it. The "cooking surface" has a worn look on it. This was very well done. Ebay's shipping calculator tends to run high on larger boxes.
