Description: This is the famous 914 Radio dip pen nib as used and coveted by the legendary Charles Schulz, which is the nib he used to ink Peanuts (Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang). When Esterbrook stopped producing them he bought all their remaining stock of 914s and said he would retire if he ever ran out. There aren’t many left in existence. Here is your chance to own one. Unused vintage in mint condition. Box is not included. Please note: It is sometimes claimed that the Bank 14 nib is the same as the 914 except without the alloy plating. However, careful analysis reveals that the Bank 14 is made of a slightly thicker steel, making for a slightly stiffer pen. It is an excellent pen in its own right, but is not the same as the 914. See my other listings for more vintage nibs, art books, and other fine art supplies. Combined shipping on most items should be automatic as you add them to your cart. If it isn't, please see below:For USA orders: Add all the items to your cart. If the shipping charge is much more than for for a single item, click the button “request total” and I’ll send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping amount. For some reason this only works on a computer, not on mobile. If you only have access to mobile, please message me, or make your purchase and I’ll refund any overcharges (USA only).Non-USA: If the shipping charge you’re quoted in the shopping cart is much more than for a single item, I may need to make a custom listing. Once you decide exactly what you want, please send me a complete list and I’ll create a custom listing. For nib orders the total shipping charge will be about the same as for a single item, even for large quantities.
