Description: This is a Vintage Chelsea House "Spaniel Dog on Pillow" Oil Painting on Board with picture stand. It is 21" x 13". There is no artist signature on this piece that I could find. There are a few scratches and stains here and there on the painting, see photos. The paint shows some crackling as well. I do not know the age of this piece, but am guessing it was painted in the '50s if not before. I have not been able to find another one like this. This is a very unique piece. When placed on the ground, it looks as though you have a lifesize spaniel dog sitting on your floor. I think this is a cocker spaniel. No need to worry about taking this guy outside though.PR6
