Description: I just found this during the past weekend at an estate sale, and I'm rushing to get it listed for you, because these are wonderful for holiday portraits of your beautiful baby! This is hand crocheted from soft linen thread and it has mellowed to a cream color. There are several lacey crochet patterns used including a large star shape on the back of the head. There are also three rows of satin ribbon threaded through the top of the hat; they are a very pale pink color. There are also long ribbon ties to form a bow under the chin. This is a larger size, so check the measurements to ensure a good fit. ~8” around the neck edge ~12” around the face edge ~10” around the head I have laundered and pressed this and found it to be in sound condition, soft and supple and not brittle. I found no holes (unintentional holes!) or rips or stains, and no funky odors. It's ready to wear, and will be great for a holiday picture of your child.
