Description: This child's quilt is hand embroidered and measures 72 x 43". The background is a deep sea blue color which does not show up well in the photos but the last close up photo shows the color more vividly. Within the border is a rectangle with the animal blocks and the rectangle measures 55 x 26". Within that rectangle are the individual embroidered blocks, 34 of them, each measuring 5.5" x 4". The quilt needs cleaned. Also, I have found 5 blocks that are starting to fray within the white cloth - the actual embroidery work is not affected. These could be repaired. Or, the quilt blocks could be repurposed for something else. This quilt was among my mother's things and I'm assuming it belonged to me or my sister (born 1942 and 1945).
