Description: This vintage Chinese Mun Shou soy sauce bottle stands nearly 5 inches tall with a glaze over cheerful embossed yellow designs. It has a with a screw-on spouted lid for easy pouring. It is 20th century Jingdezhen Ware with the distinctive "Mun Shou" designs of swirls and medallion florals. The bottle was crafted in China probably in the 1960s or 1970s and weighs 6.4 ounces. Condition is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing, discoloration or paint loss. The red backstamp reads "中国景德镇 Made in China, 08". The Chinese character translate to English as "Jingdezhen, China". This city known as the "Porcelain Capital" for producing the finest Chinese ceramic for over 1,000 years. Thanks for looking.
