The intricate design features a pair of silver and 24K gilded ducks (one in flight the other in the water) and a beautiful branch with contrasting copper colored accented flowers expertly engraved in precious silver and gold. The 3-dimesional wooden frame is overlaid in silver and gold leaf and has a glass cover to protect this wonderful Chokin Japanese work of art. The frame measures 13.75 x 12.25". The picture, in very good vintage condition preserved under the framed glass contains an engraved signature in Japanese language in the lower right-hand corner. The overall condition of this exquisite artwork is considered previously owned vintage good condition with the original descriptive stickers on the glass surface, some minor wear on the picture frame, and, vintage aging with the paper covering on the backside of the picture frame.
