Made in France, this camera is a testament to the fine craftsmanship of the era and is sure to impress both collectors and filmmakers alike. With its sleek design and smooth operation, it is a must-have for any serious filmmaker. Whether you are a professional or amateur filmmaker, this camera is a great investment. With its unique features and superior quality, it is sure to add value to any film project. So if you are looking for a vintage camera that can capture stunning footage, look no further than this Cinema Products CP-16 sound camera. This is not the SLR version, but the prism viewfinder version. A little dimmer in the viewfinder, but easy enough to use. Shooting film requires some premeditation anyway. Everything functions as it should. The lens is free of debris and fungus. The inside is very clean, even though the outside has chipped paint. This thing is a workhorse and was probably used as a news camera (that was what they were made for). It looks like it was serviced by a professional at some point in its life. I purchased this camera probably 8 to 10 years ago and ran a couple of rolls of film through it. The picture is very stable, and there are no artifacts and light leaks like you get from the wind-up Russian cameras. I really love this camera, but I just don't have the time or money to be messing with movie film anymore, so someone else that can put it to good use deserves to acquire it and make something creative with it. Here is a link showing everything operating smoothly: https://youtu.be/zX3onRV7tac?feature=shared Included is the following: Camera body Zoom lens Two film cartridges (the big round things) A set of spare belts (a big bonus, as they are hard to find nowadays) -------------------------------- **NOTE**I will not be including a battery. That is up to the buyer to figure out because I don't want to be liable if something gets damaged. I was able to run the camera with two 9.6v battery packs wired in series and connected to the prongs where the battery goes. Some adhesive Velcro strips and Tandy style plugs can be a great help here. The two packs make 19.2v, which is well within an acceptable range for this camera. The camera was intended to run on 20v with THE POSITIVE TERMINAL BEING THE TOP PRONG in the battery compartment. If you decide to rig up your own battery, please research and get the polarity right or just buy a new battery. If you reverse them, you will burn up the circuit board inside the camera.
