Description: If these boots could talk. For starters I think they are sized 11 but they could be 11.5? I wear a size 12 tennis shoe wide and these fit perfectly. So these shoes have seen a lot. The history is I bought them at a military shop before any of that replica crap was everywhere. I got them in ‘87. USA made. So I’d say Vietnam era jungle boots. Canvas top all black. They have been on my feet for thousands of hours. Countless shows. Many pits. They have a steel shank in the sole. They show wear, and love! I pampered these shoes yet wore them often… daily! They were last on my feet maybe 8 years ago for one outing. Prior to that probably 25 years ago. I polished them often, there’s heavy wear but no rot! So I have repaired them the best I could. This was the 8 years ago that they were worn once. I resoled them with vibram soles and they were, again, worn once. I leather patched the eye hole and replaced with apparently a slightly different color. They have new laces! The canvas had two holes that were patched. So these are ready to continue to kick some ass! They are in great shape (other than the heavy wear). Oh one shoe is missing the little side vent piece. See the pictures. I would also recommend inserts as I remember and it kinda feels like some nails are starting to be apparent in the inside. Not uncomfortable really but still noticeable. These will be the most comfortable, broken in, well loved jungle boots from the 80’s you’ll ever have the pleasure of owning. I’m sadly getting rid of them cause they hurt my old man feet! I need arches and supports and stuff now. Makes me sad but they need to be worn! Ask questions! There’s some nostalgia connected to the price but these are such great boots with tons of life in them.
