Description: This is a vintage sculpture of a wildflower made of copper in a base of wood by artist Asa D Hall. The copper has a weathered patina and features a long metal stem that is bounded in a 3“ x 3“ wooden block. It also features two copper leaves coming from base the flower consist of four petals all designed by the artist in a simple organic style. Asa had previously worked in agriculture and mill crane industry. And later life, he turned to blacksmithing and metal work and this is one of his examples. Very few pieces can be found on previous auctions, so this is somewhat of a rare piece. The bottom of the base has his engraved initials, and also features a label of his name and his address in Litchfield Connecticut. Ada Hall died in June 2002
