Description: Beautiful antique cranberrycut-to-clear cased glass syrup pitcher with silver plated mount and hinged lid, c. 1900. The lower portion of the syrup is cranberry glass cut through to the clear glass below in a diamond pattern. The upper section is cut in a wide band of diamond cutting on clear glass. The syrup has a silver plate mount at top with spout, hinged lid, and attached handle. Lid marked with a number "35" on the inside center. The base of syrup is cut with star cutting from the center extending to the outside edge. Measures 5 1/2" high with a 1 3/4" diameter top rim and 2 5/8" diameter base. Weighs 14.2 ounces.
