Description: Vintage Crombie Aberdeen Overcoat Mens Coat Wool Tweed Sz 40 R W Forsyth Glasgow. Quality heavy Crombie overcoat made for and supplied by R W Forsyth (prestigious clothes shop in Glasgow/Edinburgh/London in business from late 1800s to 1981) Material not stated but I believe it is tweed / wool, it is a very fine grey/black check and has a quality tartan pattern lower inner lining. The coat has 3 buttons and turned cuffs. It is in very good vintage condition. The only issue I can spot is a little red material showing above top button, see photo, this is hidden when coat buttoned up. This is a lovely quality, heavy and very warm coat.
