Vintage Custom DeRosa Neo Pro - 59 cm - Columbus Genius tubing

Description: I've owned this frame since the early 2000s. I bought it as a closeout directly from Gita Sport in North Carolina. Gita was the long time US importer of De Rosa bicycles and accessories. The Neo Pro model was made starting in 1997 and came only in a white pearl finish. It was the only bike of De Rosas line-up that was made with Columbus Genius tubing. Extremely light and slightly oversized compared to SLX tubing, it was lighter and stiffer than either SLS or SL tube sets used in the De Rosa product line. When I got tired of looking at the discoloration of the white pearl paint and chipped frame decals, I decided a new paint job was in order. The last 6 photos show the frame as it used to look. I always wanted a black frame with some red candy apple panels so I could mount the various red anodized parts I had accumulated over the years. It has now turned into a unique bike I could proudly display and retain for my modest collection. However, it is now time to sell this De Rosa Neo Pro and thin my collection. I trust that the new owner will appreciate the effort I have put into this bike.
