Description: UNUSED, Guaranteed Authentic Vintage Disneyland 3-part coupon for families to get special Magic Kingdom Prices on 10 and 20 ride ticket books, with admission, dated 1959. This form indicates "Expires September 13, 1959. The back has the special prices. In 1959, admission and a 10 ride book for an adult was $3.50, so this was a 25 cent discount. It gave a 50 cent discount to an adult on the 20 ride book. These coupons were individually numbered. Each section of this coupon is stamped A099344 in black at the lower left. The condition is amazing. The Magic Kingdom Club was created by Milt Albright in 1958. Companies and organizations located geographically near Disneyland (and later, Walt Disney World), could offer free memberships to employees, which gave them discounts on admission and tickets to the park. Members could also subscribe to the highly collectible Disney News magazine, exclusively for Magic Kingdom Club Members. I assume this ticket coupon offer was provided by such employers. For some reason, it's in 3 parts. All three perforated sections must be kept intact for the offer to be valid. You brought this form to the ticket booth and got the discount on admission including a regular 10 ride Magic Kingdom Book or a 20 ride book for each member of your family. Maybe the ticket seller needed to put each of the three parts in specific sections of their till to account for having sold the special books. I have never seen one of these before in my 48 years of collecting Disneyland souvenirs. Size: About 3 1/2 by 6 7/8 inches. Condition: Excellent, like new condition. about 1/2 inch of the perforation between the top two coupons are separated, but the coupons are still firmly attached to each other.
