Description: Vintage Dresden Alka Porcelain Lace Figurine Minuette Dancers 733 Germany 1950s. Approximtely 12 cm (or 4.75") tall. Bottom says: "Dresden Germany, Menuett" with mold number 733. The mark shows a crowned scepter; while I have not been able to identify this exact mark, similar 733 pieces show marks reading Alka and sometimes gold stamped WEST GERMANY. The crown on the scepter looks very similar to the Alka crowns, so this was likely still made by that company. On a cite with their marks, it is suggested that this would be around 1938-1956. A stunning addition to any collection. Please note: a section of the lace is missng from the front centre of the girl's dress and a section on the back. Other than those sections, the Figurine has been well preserved.
