Description: This is a pair of interesting early 1970s polyester/nylon ties. First is a Britannia. 100% polyester. Features a blue paisley motif lower, separated with gold bands on a nearly geometric black and white upper. Definitely a vintage look, but not extreme and something that can be worn every day. Measures 4 1/8" across the blade, 1 1/4" at the neck and 53 3/4" overall length. Second is a black, grey and silver Wembley. Made of Wemblon, which was their proprietary Dacron. Again, it's definitely a vintage tie, but a very classic look that would work at the office today. Tie belonged to my Dad, and is in excellent condition, with no stains, popped stitching or pilling of the fabric and label firmly in place. Measure 4 1/2" across the blade, 1 1/4" at the neck and 54 1/4" overall length. Really a good looking tie and ready to dress up your look and start conversations!
