Description: Vintage Elgin De Luxe 10K GF Watch from 1943 w/ a 17J Grade 555 for Parts/Repair. This Elgin watch has a USA-made grade 555 movement with sub-second and blued hands. It's in a 10K gold-filled Wadsworth case with a serial number of E281799. Condition: Great Restoration Project - Parts/Repair. It sets and moves freely, although the movement does not run as the hairspring is broken. The crystal is in fair shape but has numerous spider cracks. The dial is aged and dirty. The paint on the 11:00 hour is disappearing.
