Description: First Edition "Dreams" by Oliver Schreiner Publication by Donohue Brothers, 407-429 Dearborn St., Chicago There is no date or information on this particular book. There was such desiray at the time, i.e., Donohue Brothers, became Donohue, Henneberry & Co, to M.A. Donohue Company changing ownership, making the the publication year unclear. But it had to have been before 1901, before the Donohue Brothers changes names. Therefore, I believe this was the first publication because it was published by 'Donohue Brothers', before the company became Donohue, Henneberry & Co, or then, M.A. Donohue Company, and finally, Henneberry Co. The Donohue family, was reorganized first as Donohue Brothers (since the early 1800's), then by 1901 M.A. Donohue & Co., and then identified as Donohue, Henneberry & Co. Therefore, since the 1901 edition was published by the Donohue Henneberry & Co., it would be a second edition, as the Donohue Brothers on Dearborn, Chicago were first.
