The speckles in the glaze settled toward the center of the plate during the firing process (see close up photos). This is normal and is not discoloration due to damage. There are no chips or cracks. The plate has a slight oval shape. The bottom has 3 small round marks that are the result of the “stilts” used during the firing process.
