Description: Here is a vintage butter pat from Franciscan in the pattern of "Denmark Blue". It would make a love addition to a Blue & White pottery collection. The round shape and 2 7/8 inch diameter is just right for an individual butter serving, or to use as a pretty ring tray. It's made of thick ironstone ceramic in the style of Delftware from Holland, although it was crafted in England. It is in excellent condition with zero scratches or other flaws. The backstamps printed in blue reads "Denmark, English Ironstone, Franciscan, Made in England". This pattern was produced for a short time in the 80s, from 1983 to 1988. Thanks for looking.
