Description: An absolutely gorgeous vintage French Indienne floral cotton with possibly a bit of linen. Large scale intricate design with a lot of fabulous detail in the pattern. A wide border type textile very much in the realm of 19thc and early 20th French border prints, the design elements are also very much inspired by earlier florals. I imagine this one is 1960's-80's time frame? Superb palette of a variety of rich provincial type colors on an ivory/cream ground. Feels like mostly linen though may have a hint of cotton. Very versatile in projects as it is wide so could be used in pillow making, patchwork etc.. but also would be lovely as a window valance, curtain accents etc..Just stunning, thrilled with the one. ***~Condition~ appears unused and very nice and clean. Ready to work with. ***~Measures ~ 20" wide by 1 yard long. The actual floral design area is 14 1/2" wide.
