Description: These FROST LINE KIT knickers date from the late 1970s. At the time, this is what one wore for cross country skiing or winter hiking. Generally they were over long johns with wool knee socks and with gaiters over the shoe or boot. These show no obvious points of wear. There are 2 side pockets and 1 back pocket. All are zippered. There are four belt tabs at the waist. This is a vintage size 12 which I believe is smaller than a current size 12. I also believe that in 1970 the waistband was at the bellybutton. .
