Description: Up for Sale is a very RARE Gibson branded with Kalamazoo K21 headstock, vintage 30s Archtop with a very unique logo . Here's what I know: Unable to find any info about this, but I had the guitar looked at by a locally renowned Luthier Paul Mehl,He's never seen this logo anywhere and says it very unique! He set it up and did a heated neck reset and fixed a few cracks in the body. He stated the bracing is a unique bracing which only Gibson used. Also he verified that the logo is original to the guitar and have never been altered. It appears to be a Kalamazoo head stock which he believes someone a worker at the factory may have added the Gibson logo and made this for themselves. Its all orignal Gibson with the exception of the Headstock and he replaced the bridge with a period correct bridge and tuners and screws. Also last two frets up top towards the body were added as they didnt have any when i got it. He also made me a pick guard. Plays beautiful very low action and neck is straight as an arrow. Let me know what you all think. Specs: Back and sides are Maple, Top is a Solid Spruce Top, Fretboard is Rosewood (possibly Brazillian), X-Bracing appears to be that of a period Kalamazoo kind of X-Bracing with unique square braces.
