Carsntiques shipping and handling policy We, at Carsntiques, are committed to making each and every Ebay transaction a positive experience. We work hard to describe each item carefully and add adequate pictures. We strive to answer questions quickly and completely. We then take special pride in packaging carefully and tightly within the container in order to minimize chances for damage during shipping. Buyers are responsible for adding insurance and we recommend such especially for fragile items. We would recommend that, after winning one of our auctions, you wait with payment until we package the item and then send an invoice. We try to estimate the boxed weight accurately but sometimes the final weight will differ some, hopefully to your benefit. Sometimes we find that another service will save money, such as using FedEx ground instead of USPS. We reserve the right to make such a change to the shipping provider in these instances. FedEx, however, requires a street address so FedEx shipments cannot be sent to a post office box (PO box). Ebay’s shipping calculators are not always accurate as well as we have seen where Ebay has sometimes inflated the shipping in the listing for the weight we enter. If you think that might be the case, we will eagerly give you a direct quote upon knowing your zip code. We do feel, however, that quality packaging is more important than saving a few pennies. Please also understand that boxes, packing materials, tape, etc. does cost money as well. Check our feedback – we get great reviews on our pride in packaging. Items sold to customers in Nebraska are subject to 7% sales tax as well as other states who have out-state sales tax requirements. Note: If you have a problem with anything (product quality, packaging, etc.) please contact us and allow us to correct the problem. We will most likely ask you to file a claim through Ebay and, if we did miss something (we are only human), we will most likely either have the item shipped back or offer a refund. We do NOT knowingly list damaged or items that are not working without telling you about any defects. We try to closely inspect all items and take pictures of any damage. Occasionally, however, we do miss something and will absolutely address that in a reasonable manner. Please insure you are purchasing an item that is correct for your application. Our policy is to not accept returns unless we have misrepresented the item in some manner. Damaged packaging during shipment – If the package and/or item is damaged or lost during shipment, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company. Do not throw away the packaging as the shipping company will want to see it in order to conduct their investigation. As stated earlier, it is the buyer’s responsibility to add insurance to the transaction. Some shipments include automatic insurance up to a certain value but others do not. International shipping: We utilize the international shipping service through Ebay. Ebay, however, does not support this program for some countries and, thus, we do not either. If someone from one of these unsupported countries purchases an item from us, we reserve the right to cancel the order. Thanks for your interest in our listings. We value your business. Bob & Dottie
