Description: Handmade Ekenas Sweden glass mushroom, caps are green with slight specks of color. Paperweight/ Made between 1940-1960’s in very good vintage condition with no damage, no chips cracks, breaks or repairs. Smaller mushroom 4.25” tall cap 2.8” diameter Larger mushroom 6.5” tall cap 4.4” diameter The bottoms have some surface abrasions from being displayed and moved around, The smaller on has an original sticker ( started to come off I taped it down) the larger one the gold foil sticker has worn off name. Both are amazing with the caps having more of a matte finish with green speckled ( a bit of orange on the smaller one. ) Ekenas Glasbruk, a Swedish glassworks, was founded in 1917 by R. Stahl and Hjalmar Stahl, who formerly worked at Orrefors. In 1922, Sven Westberg bought the company, and was manager until he died in 1962.
