Description: This handpainted Nippon dresser or cabinet bowl has an amazing landscape scene. The trees are in violet, the yellow flowers are at the shore in a lake that has two geese or ducks on it. Really serene and lovely! It's a little painting in a bowl. There is a beautiful gold geometric pattern around the outside of the rim with raised gold dotted paint. There is a very old peice of masking tape that I had trouble removing and will leave that to the next owner as I didn't want to damage it. The bowl has a 6 1/8" opening. It's about 6 1/2" wide at the widest point and stands 2 1/4" tall without the handles. With the handles, it's 3 3/8" tall.
