Description: Cut crystal decanter given as an award to a long term customer or employee. Body is etched with a "Republic Bank Dallas {both logo & name} ~ 25 Year Club". The bottle holds 32 oz. / 1 liter / 4 cups / 1 Quart. Ground stopper original to decanter. Definitely quality manufacture. Square shape, with faceted corners. Has significant age to it, but exact manufacturing date unknown. Republic Bank was the largest bank in Texas, forming in 1922. The bank failed and closed in the 1988 Savings & Loan crisis. I suspect this piece is from the 1980's when the Dallas economy was booming (pre-1986). Dimensions: 11" tall x 4" wide x 4" long. Outer top lip diameter 1-7/8". Bottle top hole diameter 1-1/8". Stopper top diameter 2.25". Stopper 4" tall, of which 1.5" inserted into the bottle. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. No sickness, discoloration, or residues. Don't feel anything amiss when I run finger around edges.
