Description: Up for sale is a very nice H.L. Leonard Model 66 bamboo fly rod. This rod is 8’ long, it weighs 3.7oz, and it will cast 5wt fly lines just fine.Overall, this rod is still in great shape; however, it does have a few minor things I need to mention. First, the butt-cap has a small wiggle (it is still firmly pinned on the reel seat). Second, one of the tip guides will need to be remounted and the agate on the other tip guide has some hairline cracks. The last thing I need to mention is both tips have slight sets. The cork handle and varnish have light cosmetic wear. All sections are full length. The ferrules fit tight and as intended (they measure 13/64). This rod comes with the original tube and sock.
