Description: We offer for your consideration this 3 piece lot of Horn mouthpieces. These horn mouth pieces came to us through an estate sale. There are three, two are stamped, one is not. All of them appear to be made Nickel and plated. Benge 5B 9, shank length 1 3/8 inch, shank inside diameter approx. 1/4 inch, Silver plated Ideal 7C, shank length 1 3/8 inch, shank inside diameter approx. 1/4 inch, Chrome plated Unknown "1", shank length 2 3/16 inch, shank inside diameter approx. 5/16 inch, Silver plated. The "Ideal" and the 'Benge" look to be almost identical in profile. Perhaps the mouth piece labeled "Ideal" Is a Benge copy ? The mouthpiece Stamped "1" has a very similar bowl shape and depth of the other mouth pieces but the shank 1/2 inch longer and the Shank inside diameter is larger then the shorter other mouth pieces.This may be a trombone mouth piece ? If you are a horn player who likes have a varied collection of mouth pieces, ready at hand, there might be some pieces you could use in this offering
