Description: VINTAGE HUIPILE FROM GUATEMALA - UNIQUE FULL LENGTH TOGA DRESS This Unique Antique Hand Woven Full Length HUIPILE Toga Style Dress was made in Guatemala sometime around the 1960’s I was told. Its 38” long, 46” wide across the hem, each of the side shoulder sections is 19” wide, the slit arm hole is 7” long, the neckline scoop in front goes down 3 1/2” from the shoulder, and the slit down the front neckline is 1 1/2” long. It has been well worn and there are numerous small spots and faint stains in both the front and back off white cotton strips, I have not tried to clean - I want to leave this task to someone with more experience with this type of textile, but here are no holes or tears.
