Description: Vintage Ice Cream Scoop Dipper The dipper is an updated version of an early 1933 patented dipper used to dip or dig out ice cream from ice cream containers in the form of a cylinder for dipping into liquid chocolate on a wooden stick or paddle (Patent 1,896,083). Dipper ejects a 3 inch long 1 5/8 dia. cylindrical slug of ice cream. Manufacturer and date unknown, no makings on the dipper. The yellow anodized ejection rod cap indicates it was manufactured after the 1940, possibly as late as the1960's. Dipper is in Good condition. has some missing chrome or nickle plating. The dipper is 7 inches long with 4 inch handle and weighs 14 ounces.
