Description: This vintage Indiana Glass compote/candy dish features a beautiful lotus blossom pattern in a warm amber color. Made in Dunkirk, Indiana in the 1970s, this original piece is a lovely addition to any collection and is perfect to use during the fall season and holidays. The pressed glass production technique gives it a unique texture and the glossy finish adds to its decorative appeal. Measuring 7.5 inches in height and 6.25 inches in width, the compote weighs 1 pound and 13.2 ounces. It is perfect for use as a centerpiece or for serving candy or other small items. The compote is in very good used condition. There are no cracks. There is one chip on the underside of the base. (Please see close up picture.) There is some light scuffing on one area of the inside of the compote. As with all pressed glass, there are small manufacturing quirks that make each piece unique. This compote has two glass 'drips' that you can feel midway down the inner part of the compote. I attempted to capture them in the final photo.
