Description: Up for sale is this nice vintage 20th century Alaskan hand carved cedar totem pole by J Michael of Funter Bay Alaska. This highly detailed totem with traditional symbols is decorated with raised stylized birds (eagle and raven), frog, and other figures. Totem poles are a monumental type of Northwest Coast art, consisting of poles, posts or pillars, carved with symbols or figures, usually made by indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest coast. Shipping For the majority of my listings I offer free shipping but when that option is not offered It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay shipping. I primarily use USPS Priorty Mail as I have been using it since 1996 and have had very few problems. If you would prefer another carrier please contact me and we can change to your preference. I only charge the shipping amount - I will not charge you for packing materials or handling. The only exception if if the item is oversized or unique and requires specialized packing then I will charge for the box.
