Description: This vintage Japanese porcelain serving bowl is approximately 12" in diameter and 2.25" deep. The bowl features a beautiful yet subtle slightly raised pattern of cherry blossoms on the ivory white main part of the bowl, and a curving geometric pattern on the blue rim. The bowl is footed and has a lovely high-gloss finish. The bowl is made of high-quality porcelain and was manufactured in Japan. Please note that although it is unused, it was a display piece at our family store in the 1990s (it has been in storage since we closed our store), and it has a slight chip/blemish along the rim (see pic 7). The price has been discounted due to this minor imperfection. The bowl is appropriate for serving dishes at your next dinner party or for daily use in your kitchen.
