Music Box Company Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE MUSIC BOX Charming vintage wood music box measuring 5" square by 2-1/4" tall. Featuring a Jewish Star of David lithograph paper decoration on the lid, box was made in 1992 by the San Francisco Music Box Company. Featuring a lift up hinged lid, interior is fitted with a small open area for storing special items, with cased player inside a sealed compartment. Underside has a small wind-up key marked ROMANCE, and original Made in Taiwan label. Condition of the box is very nice with a tiny scuff on the star as shown - unfortunately, the key is overwound and the box only works occasionally, playing a few notes, but not enough to recognize the tune. Hoping someone would like to take this on as a project - I think it can be repaired. Selling as a project in non-working condition - fun addition to any collection or display!
