Beautiful Swedish art piece. Rectangular wall plaque in very good vintage condition, designed by artist Aimo Nietosvuori for Jie Keramik company. Dark green-glazed frame and honeysuckle flower motif in relief. Decorated by hand. Part of the Province Flowers Series, the kaprifol (honeysuckle) represents the province flower of Bahuslan. No chips or cracks. There is unevenness in spots around the border. There are spots where the hand painted glaze ran ‘outside the lines’. All part of the handcrafting process. On the back, some of the incisions are blurry, like the name Bahuslan and the number 881. There are 2 foam protectors glued to the bottom corners. Please zoom in the photos.
