Description: Vintage JOHNSON BROTHERS English Chippendale Small Teapot REPLACEMENT LID ONLY Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE CHIPPENDALE TEAPOT REPLACEMENT LID Vintage oval replacement lid for a Johnson's Brothers small teapot measuring exactly 3-1/4" long and 2-3/4" wide - inner flange measures 2" wide, 1/2" deep and 2-7/8" long. Featuring a striking blue floral chintz pattern on creamy white, pattern name is English Chippendale - lid is complete with a pierced bracket finial handle and steam hole. Originally seated on the SMALL size footed blue chintz teapot with the oval lid which I managed to break into a million pieces, only the lid survived. Condition is excellent with no damage (amazing) other than typical fine, clear glaze crazing. Hoping someone can use this lid - I know the teapot is difficult to find and if I remember correctly, it is very small, holding only two cups - I've included a photo of the original teapot before the damage - sadly, listing is for the lid only.
