Description: Vintage Jonne By House of Schrager Black Glass Cameo Beaded Necklace 1950s This is a classic vintage black glass cameo and black bead necklace from the 1950s by Jonné, a jewelry line from the House of Schrager. The cameo features a beautiful right facing woman with wavy hair, with two bands holding back her hair. The necklace is signed Jonné on a hang tag located by the clasp. Little is known about the House of Schrager. It was founded in 1925 and located on 5th Avenue in New York. The House of Schrager jewelry designs were similar to Miriam Haskell and Stanley Hagler designs. Advertisements for Jonné and the House of Schrager jewelry stopped being published in 1962. This little known Jonné black glass cameo and black bead necklace is the perfect addition to any vintage jewelry collection. Details:- Marks: Jonné- Color: Black, gold, silver- Materials: Metal, glass- Dimensions: Necklace - 25” long, cameo - 1 ⅛” long, ¾” wide- Condition: One bead near the clasp has a hairline crack, which doesn’t show in the photos, because the beads are black. There is some minor finish wear on the metal around the cameo, (see photos). Otherwise, it’s in very good condition. Since our items are vintage/antique, they may show wear from normal use.
