Description: Vintage JOSEF ORIGINALS "The Trousseau" Girl holding Gown and wearing a diamond engagement ring, from the "Romance" series made in Japan. Handpainted porcelain, about 8" tall and incised on the underside - original Josef and Japan foil labels are attached. Richly embellished with lots of gilding and applied porcelain roses. This lovely figurine is in Very Good pre-owned condition - there is a small chip on the gown she holds, and I see three chipped rose petals on her dress, pics #14-18. NO other chips, cracks, crazing or repairs noted. Please review all photos, as they are part of this description.One of my favorite Josef's, this will make a beautiful addition to your collection!
