Description: Very nice vintage portrait plate. The mark is a gold N with a Crown over it and that leads us to think it may be Capodimonte, but we are not sure. Regardless of the maker, the plate is beautiful. Floral sprays with heavy gilt detail surround what we believe to be a Josephine portrait. Green is the dominant color. Gold Eagle crests in the gilt signify a Napoleonic theme.
