Description: Vintage Juanitaware Hippopotamus planter, quite large, 12.5" long, 5" wide, 5.5" high, by the Triangle Novelty Company of Ohio. Colors are the usual varied browns - no damage is seen. This is a very unusual, rare piece. Because of the solid interior glaze, I believe this is from the Dalton, Ohio, production site. Stored in pet free - smoke free home for 20 years.
