There are no plastic parts. It is very heavy and built to last a life time. This GM grain mill attachment will work on most any KitchenAid stand mixer as well as the Hobart mixers with the #10 attachment hub. This GM grain mill attachment includes original all metal grain mill, drive shaft, burr as shown. Use this grain mill to mill grains, cereals, I have heard that people also grind coffee, no idea if this is true. Ask questions prior to purchase as there are no returns. This style / particular model attachment hasn't been manufactured since the early 1970s.
