Description: This is a very special camera. Made in the mid 1960s in Japan, this 35mm film camera remains to this day the *only* analog SLR camera that is capable of switching between full- and half- frame shots mid-roll. Truly a one-of-a-kind machine, and in very good condition for its age, with an original Konica leather case to boot. The switch on the top of the camera (see pics) allows for the frame size to be changed between 24×36 landscape and 18×24 portrait in mid-roll. This means that you can get a maximum of 72 exposures per roll of film, as opposed to the usual 36. The half-frame format is great for creating experimental diptychs, where two vertical half-frame exposures fill the space of a normal horizontal negative. The included lens is a Konica made f/1.18 52mm.
