The scene is titled "Micawber Introduces David to London" The base has a mark that reads "ENGLISH WARE / LANCASTERS / LTD / HANLEY / ENGLAND" This mark was used by Lancaster & Sons between 1938-1944. The mug is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. There is typical base wear from use. Overall the mug displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:4" Tall to Rim.2 7/8" Rim Diameter.5 1/4" from Spout to end of Handle.2 3/4" Base Diameter.
