Description: Item Description: Vintage, large, framed original impasto-style oil painting on canvas. Signed by the artist, 'S. Ransom'. Gorgeous Autumn landscape featuring a lake, trees, and snow-capped mountains. Time period unknown but it is estimated to be at least 40-45 years old based on the estate it came from. Solid wood frame with mahogany stain finish. Hanging wire attached with two sawtooth hooks. Measurements: The painting on its own is approximately 20" x 24". Including the frame, it is approximately 27.75" x 31.5" with a depth of 2". Condition: In very good overall pre-owned vintage condition. The painting itself has several very small spots of paint loss (they appear as white spots in the photos), overspray and color transfer. A few small areas of paint 'crazing'. The wood frame shows some minor signs of wear, most notably around the edges. One corner (top right) has a small wood chip but appears to have been re-covered in stain to camouflage it.
