Description: This vintage Leland Stanford Junior University large beer stein/tankard is a great addition to any collection. The design features the official 1891 Tree logo of the university done in gold leaf. Made in the USA by McCoy Pottery, it is in excellent used condition and marked on the bottom "USA 990". The unglazed bottom rim has some light marks and a small shallow chip that is not easily seen. Zoom in on the last photo for better detail. The logo and gold trim show no signs of wear. The glaze is nice and shiny with no crazing or stains. Measurements and weight are detailed in photos. Packaged with care and shipped promptly with USPS Ground Advantage Mail.
