Description: Offered is a Vintage Marzi and Remy German Castle Punch Bowl Tureen and Cup Set. The set consists of tureen, lid, and 8 squared cups. Marzi and Remy was founded in the town of Höhr, Rhineland district, Germany in 1879 and was permanently closed in 1994. Each piece is impressed with the trapezoidal maker’s mark used from 1879-1964. I believe these pieces were produced in the mid-20th century. Overall, all pieces are in excellent condition with the exception of the lid which has a chip at the notch in the lid as seen in the last photo. There are no other chips, cracks, or crazing found. No ladle. Approximate measurements are: Tureen - 12” tall to top of finial x 8 ¾” bowl diameter. 12” handle to handle. 7 ¼” tall without lid. Cups – 3 3/8” tall x 3 ¼” square cup. 4 ¾” cup to end of handle.
