Description: Mayer Carburetor Co Buffalo N.Y. All major parts move on this beauty. I haven’t been able to find one like it. Found this in my tank of my John Deere hit &miss engine I bought. Don’t Have any insight on it please let me know. The Mayer Carburetor was at the beginning of the 20th century. It was used widely on early Fords, but its claim to fame was that it was used on the Thomas Flyer that won the Great Race in 1908.
