No damage. The metal center has a Dandelion pattern and just below that is the maker signature; (C) Goodwood (R). Glass (6 1/2" x 5") dome is thick and heavy ( this makes it strong in creating a a secure /snug fit to protect the cheese or food under it) and perfect also. Bottom is footed.
